AFFIRMATION 

I was born for a reason. 

I am not a biological accident. 

I am not one of the many people in the eaeth

I have an assignment 

I have a mandate. 

I have an anointing. 

I have a destiny. 

INTRODUCTION 

The World is full of people who found themselves in the middle of time, didn't know why they were born and they died without discovering why they came upon the surface of the earth. 

There is nothing as tragic as a man who lives on the surface of the earth without knowing the reason he was born and what he was mandated to do upon the surface of the earth. 

Definition  (Purpose) 

The intent for manufacturing a product. 

The purpose of a thing is the reason for its existence. 

God is a God of purpose. He does not create anything without a reason. 

Everyone of us have an assignment earmarked by God. It has been predetermined. 

Purpose is no the same as ambition. Ambition is 6ojr desire, what you aspire to become by reason of your likes, your environment and whatever parameters you use. 

Purpose is the intention that God put in your heart to serve here in the earth realm. 

When He shot you like an arrow from eternity into time He packaged you for a reason. 

You don't create your purpose you discover it. 

The day you find yourself in the book you'll begin to walk on the path of destiny. 

One definition of frustration in life is to walk void of the knowledge of your assignment, you will only waste time, energy and resources. 

God designed that you find fulfilment when you begin to walk in your purpose. 

Your Joy is in your purpose 

Your peace is in your purpose 

Your prosperity is in your purpose. 

Your fame and influence is in your purpose. 

The reason there is competition is because many people are trying to be what a few people who have found their purpose have become and the best your can become of another person is a second class of that person. 

Your originality is manifested when you find your place. 

Your today starts when you discover purpose. 

Your coming upon the earth does not mean you will walk on purpose, you must discover it. 

Realising that you were born for a reason will change your outlook about life. 

You don't solve inferiority complex by prayer you solve it by discovery. 

Your place in life is not determined by you, it is decided by God. Outside of God there is no discovery of purpose only ambition. 

Purpose gives you stability. 

HOW DO I DISCOVER MY ASSIGNMENT 

1. Your Potentials

Potential is an inherent ability. 

Your potential is a pointer to your purpose and assignment. 

Examples of Potentials

A. Beauty 

B. Creativity

C. Singing 

D. Leadership ability 

E. Teaching 

Your potential is what you do with ease and joy even when you are not being paid. 

Assignment

Write down a list of all your potentials. 

2. Your Passion

What is it that you will do if you are not paid? 

Doing what you are not passionate about because you are in the company of your friends will only lead to frustration. 

3. The place of consistent pain and anger

Everytime you conquer a situation in the spirit authority is given to you to bring others out. 

Your pain can become a testimony. 

You have no right to celebrate your birthday until you discover your reason for living. 

You will find your uniqueness when you discover your potential. This is the cure to inferiority complex. 

You uniqueness is not in your similarity it is in your difference. 

The next thing to do after discovering your potential is to develop and to refine it. 

The process of developing your potential is a very difficult process. This is where the men are separated from the boys. 

Men of purpose are not idly wasting their time. They value their time.

When you are a man of purpose there is direction in your life. 

The moment you begin to develop your potentials self confidence begins to come, not pride.

When you discover your purpose for living you will live a life of gratitude to God. 

The second thing that happens is that you will give honour to those who have found their own purpose. 

If you don't discover your purpose you will join the queue of frustrated people. 

You cannot park in the parking lot of your parents and expect a different result. 

Many people will never wall in their purpose because they love convenience too much. 

For every time you ask God for the throne you will see a Goliath before you. If you are not able to kill that Goliath you will never make it to the throne. 

You must be determined to pay the price to walk in your purpose.

You pay the price through prayer. You pay the price through diligent study. 

If you are ashamed of your reputation you will not be great in life. Great men are those that have died in them self. 

4. Service

You will never be a leader until you become a good servant. 

You must learn the discipline and rudiments of service. 

Service is a place of discovery. 

If you find your gifts you have found your place in life.

5. Emotional Intelligence: This has to do with the ability to manage your emotions under all circumstances. If you are an impulsive person people will not take you seriously. Such people function based on what emotional state they are.  So when they are happy, you will see them junping around. When they are sad, you see them incapacitated by that feeling. 1 . To grow up means you no longer need to be supervised before you do what is right. It means you comply with best practices whether someone is watching or not.  You always want to keep an eye on your child because you can't predict their next move.
